Where we ship

The continental United States only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, military addresses or outside the United States. Transit to those destinations is longer than we are willing to promise for a live product.

When we ship

Mondays and Tuesdays only, so nothing sits in a carrier warehouse over a weekend. Orders placed Wednesday through Sunday go out the following Monday.

How long it takes

Typically 2 to 5 days in transit from California, depending on how far you are.

4 jars or more, including every box: free

Free shipping is calculated on the order after any discount.

How it is packed

A curbside-recyclable insulated liner and a cold pack in every box. No dry ice, no styrofoam.

A warm box is normal

The cold pack is often soft on arrival and the jars may be at room temperature. That is expected: fermented vegetables are preserved by their own acidity and salt. Refrigerate on arrival; unopened jars keep for about six months. Open the first jar over the sink, as live cabbage produces carbon dioxide.
