These Terms govern your use of wellferment.com and any reservation or purchase you make through it. By using the site or placing a reservation or order you agree to them. First-batch reservations

Our first production batch is not yet available. When you complete the checkout form on this site, you are placing a free, non-binding reservation for the first batch, not a purchase. No payment is taken and no payment details are requested. We use your email and shipping details only to tell you when the first batch is ready and to hold the first-batch price shown to you. A reservation does not oblige you to buy, and it does not oblige us to ship. You can cancel a reservation at any time by emailing us, and we will delete the details you gave us on request.

Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. We ship only to addresses in the continental United States.

Products and prices

We sell raw, unpasteurized fermented vegetables in glass jars. This is a live refrigerated food, not a shelf-stable product. It continues to ferment, produces carbon dioxide and may leak. Keep it refrigerated from the moment it arrives.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable tax, which is calculated at checkout. We may change prices at any time; the price that applies to your order is the one shown when you place it. Color, texture and sourness vary between batches because the product is alive and made in small batches. That variation is not a defect.

Orders

Once paid ordering opens, your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send the confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, the address is outside the area we ship to, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full. You may cancel an order free of charge at any time before it is dispatched by emailing us.

Not medical advice

Our sauerkraut is a food, not a supplement. Nothing on this site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and statements on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are immunocompromised or follow a restricted diet, talk to your doctor before changing what you eat.

Discount codes

Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash and may be limited to one use per customer or to a minimum order value. We may withdraw a code at any time.

Email

If you sign up for our emails you agree to receive marketing messages from us. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Our content

The text, photographs, video and design on this site belong to us or our licensors and may not be reused commercially without our written permission.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
